Steel Shell Dot Peen Marking Needle
The steel series is mainly used by several marking machine brands in Hubei Province. There are relatively few models, but it has a stable customer base in some industries. The steel shell provides needle sleeve wear resistance far exceeding that of aluminum or copper shells, and has a longer marking machine life, but it is relatively more likely to cause needle jams and wear on the needle core due to dust and other factors, requiring more detailed maintenance. This series mainly uses standardized marking needles with tungsten steel needle cores with a hardness of 92 HRA. Very few customers require the use of harder carbide tungsten steel needle cores or special needle tip processes such as double angles, titanium plating, and diamond inlays. These brands usually use coated steel shells for higher specification marking needles to compensate for the disadvantage of steel shells being prone to rust.
