Copper Shell Dot Peen Marking Needle
In the early years, European and American brands used copper needle shells because copper is easy to process, which influenced a number of Chinese marking machine manufacturers. At present, some marking machine brands located in Shandong Province and Hubei Province in China use copper shell marking needles. Compared with aluminum shells and steel shells, copper shells better balance the wear resistance and processing performance of the needle sleeve.
The disadvantage is that it is slightly more expensive and heavier than aluminum needles and steel needles. In order to reduce the instability caused by inertia, the idling speed of the marking needle usually needs to be set to be less than the marking speed, and a slightly larger needle exit delay is required than that of aluminum shell needles. At present, these copper needles are produced by two factories in China besides us, but most of the copper shell marking needles for common marking machine brands are supplied by us.
We usually use 92 HRA tungsten steel needle core material to produce this series of copper needles, but if the end customer has a higher hardness workpiece marking or a longer needle core life requirement, we can also provide 96 HRA carbide tungsten steel needle core material or use double angle, titanium-plated or diamond-set needle tip technology for improvement. In addition, most models of copper shell marking needles can also provide aluminum or steel needle shells to achieve slightly different marking performance.
