A few days ago we demonstrated a prototype scribing machine for a manufacturer of automotive chassis parts in Anhui province. Today, our engineers arrived on-site to complete the installation and delivery.

The customer is a listed company headquartered in Shanghai, supplying major global automotive brands including: Volkswagen, Audi, Toyota, Honda, Hyundai Kia, Porsche, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Ford, Nissan, Jaguar Land Rover, General Motors, BYD, NIO, XPeng, Li Auto and many more.

The customer found our marking machine quieter, producing deeper markings, and outperforming their old SIC Marking equipment. Our Thorx-7 controller easily integrated with their SAP ERP and MES systems.

The customer had previously used SIC Marking’s machines for marking on their high-end vehicle components. After taking precision optical measurements and conducting sample runs, they found that our marking machine was quieter, produced deeper markings, and performed better than their old machine. Our Thorx-7 system controller was easy to debug for communication and operation with their SAP ERP and MES systems.
