Malaysian Customer Reconnects with Zixu After Decade, Explores K3 and ThorX-9 Marking Systems
A long-time Malaysian customer recently visited our new factory and witnessed a live demonstration of our best-selling compact pneumatic dot peen marking integrated machine — the K3 system.
A Decade-Long Connection
This customer has been living in Malaysia for many years. Over a decade ago, they purchased a batch of pneumatic dot peen marking machines from us for their automotive and motorcycle business. This month, while traveling back to China for the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, they came across our information on social media after arriving in Chongqing. Upon learning that we had moved to a new facility, they made a special visit to congratulate us.
First Encounter with K3 Integrated System
The customer typically purchases pneumatic marking machine consumables through our channel partner in Malaysia for local after-sales support. They had not been in direct contact with us for nearly 10 years. The popular K3 integrated marking machine has been in such high demand that even our distributors often struggle to keep it in stock, so the customer had never used the K3 system or its marking control software before.
During the demonstration by our technicians, the customer was impressed by the machine’s compact size and weight, rich feature set, and the ability to swap tooling to accommodate different vehicle types — automobiles, motorcycles, and three-wheelers — for engine identification code marking.
Introducing the ThorX-9 System
The customer also showed great interest in our newly launched ThorX-9 controller system. They were surprised to learn that despite its more powerful capabilities, the ThorX-9 is priced similarly to or even slightly lower than the ThorX-7 system they have been using. This represents a significant upgrade opportunity for their marking operations in Malaysia.
This visit not only reconnected a valued long-term customer but also demonstrated the continued evolution of our marking technology — from the early pneumatic systems to today’s advanced K3 integrated machines and ThorX controllers.
