This metal manufacturer of hardware parts is located in China, but it has a large production scale. It produces nuts, studs, and other hardware parts for almost all countries and industries around the world. This customer has purchased more than ten pneumatic dot peen marking machines from us in several batches in recent years, including an automatic system for nuts delivered last year. Fully automated loading is achieved via an inclined loading rail and a cylinder ejector mechanism, and a cylinder clamping fixture fixe the hexagonal nuts for precise and automatic marking.
Last year, we designed and produced an automated pneumatic dot peen marking machine for another hardware manufacturer that also uses a tilting rail and cylinder ejector for automatic loading and marking of steel rods in a fixed position on the top of the bar. Currently, this customer's studs can only be manually positioned for top marking. Hexagonal screws of any size can be well positioned by adjusting the angle of the tilting guides in conjunction with the cylinder tooling, but studs of different diameters are difficult to cut in this way. The customer sent us this video today to express his satisfaction with the efficiency and effectiveness of the automated marking of nuts and his desire to upgrade the automated loading and marking of more hardware products, such as studs. Our technical engineering team has started communicating with the customer about the specifications of their studs and other products to develop customized loading methods and tooling.
