300W Handheld Laser Cylinder Marking Machine Shipped to Long-Term Indonesian Customer
Chongqing Chuke Intelligent Machinery & Equipment Co., Ltd. has successfully shipped a high-power handheld laser cylinder marking machine to a long-standing customer in Indonesia. The customer, a repeat buyer of Chuke’s pneumatic dot peen cylinder markers for many years, has now placed another order for a laser-based system with enhanced marking speed requirements.
A Decade of Trust: From Dot Peen to Laser Technology
Over the years, the Indonesian customer has purchased more than 20 units of handheld pneumatic dot peen cylinder marking machines from Chongqing Chuke. These units have served the customer reliably across numerous applications. However, evolving customer requirements, particularly from their European-based end clients, prompted a gradual transition toward laser-based marking technology.

The 300W Solution: Power Efficiency Meets Speed Requirements
Last year, the customer purchased their first 100W handheld laser cylinder marking machine. While it met basic marking requirements, speed for deep engraving remained inferior to traditional dot peen technology. For this latest order, Chongqing Chuke recommended the 300W laser source configuration — currently offering the best power-to-price ratio on the market. The 300W solution delivers significantly higher marking speeds, enabling deep, permanent marks on gas cylinders with greatly improved throughput.

Complementary Transition: Pneumatic Meets Laser
For this customer, laser and dot peen technologies serve complementary roles. Dot peen remains the preferred choice for deep, physically indented marks on cylinders, while laser marking excels in high-contrast, permanently legible surface marks without material deformation. With the addition of the 300W laser system, the customer now benefits from a comprehensive marking toolkit, selecting the optimal technology based on specific end-user requirements.
