Chongqing Chuke Intelligent Machinery & Equipment Co., Ltd. Delivers Custom Laser Marking System to Seres for Smart Cockpit Component Processing

Chongqing Chuke Intelligent Machinery & Equipment Co., Ltd., a certified manufacturer with ISO, CE, FDA, and RoHS credentials, has delivered a custom laser marking system to Seres for smart cockpit component processing. The project combines precision paint stripping, high-contrast marking, and production-friendly software automation in one integrated workstation.

Precision Paint Stripping Before Welding

The two smart cockpit component types processed in this project receive full spray coating for corrosion protection. Before welding, however, selected areas must be stripped clean to restore conductivity and protect weld integrity. Seres previously handled this work on a standard 100W benchtop fiber laser marking machine, but every product switch required manual adjustment of graphics, text, coding rules, and laser parameters, which limited throughput and increased the risk of operator error.

Six-Station Custom Tooling for Batch Handling

To meet output requirements, Chuke designed a six-station custom fixture for the laser workstation. The parts are relatively small, so the customer currently loads and unloads manually, but the fixture is already designed to work with the customer's existing trays for batch handling. That reduces idle time between cycles today and creates a clean upgrade path for future automation.

One-Button Product Switching Through Custom Software

A major requirement from Seres was ease of use for frontline operators. Chuke therefore built a custom software layer on top of the EZCAD platform. Each product type can be recalled with a single button, and the system automatically loads the full job package including graphics, text, coding methods, and laser parameters. This removes repetitive manual setup, shortens changeover time, and reduces production mistakes.

300W MOPA Laser for Paint Removal and Marking

The customer selected a JPT M7 300W air-cooled MOPA laser with EZCAD software because it performs strongly in both paint stripping and high-contrast marking. The 300W MOPA setup provides the thermal control needed for selective layer removal without damaging the substrate, which is critical when processing sensitive automotive components.

800mm X-Axis Travel and Factory Communication Readiness

The system uses an 800mm-stroke X-axis motion module together with the six-station fixture. Just as important, it was built with open communication capability so it can integrate with MES, PLC, and robotic systems. One machine is enough for the customer's current output, but if the vehicle program scales further, the platform is ready for robotic loading and unloading as well as coordinated coding and traceability across multiple machines.

About Seres and the AITO Brand

Seres, the parent company behind the AITO brand, has become a major force in China's premium new energy vehicle segment. By early 2026, AITO had reached the milestone of one million vehicle deliveries within just 46 months of the brand's launch. The AITO M9 has exceeded 270,000 cumulative deliveries and led the 500,000+ RMB segment for 21 consecutive months, while the AITO M7 has surpassed 400,000 cumulative deliveries.

Seres has also accelerated its export strategy. In early 2026, AITO secured its first 200-unit order in the United Arab Emirates, marking a significant step into the Middle Eastern market. The company continues building overseas product and service systems while expanding across Central Asia and the Middle East.

The company's premium SUV matrix now covers multiple price bands and has captured more than 20% of China's premium new energy SUV market, giving Seres a strong platform for both domestic growth and international expansion.
