Douyin Customer Visits ZiXu for Glass Fiber Tube Fiber Laser Marking Test

A customer who first found ZiXu through Douyin visited our workshop yesterday with a glass fiber tube sample for an onsite marking test. The goal was straightforward: confirm whether a fiber laser marking machine could create clear, readable identification on a curved woven composite surface.

Why glass fiber marking needs a real sample test

Glass fiber is different from flat metal plates or standard plastic nameplates. The tube surface is curved, the woven texture is uneven, and the material can reflect light in different directions. For applications that need traceable batch numbers, date codes, model information, or handling marks, the marking process must balance contrast, readability, and surface control.

During the visit, the ZiXu team reviewed the customer’s sample, confirmed the marking position, prepared test content, and adjusted the marking layout on the fiber laser marking system. This onsite workflow helps customers see the real result before moving into a production plan.

The test focused on practical identification rather than decoration. Text, numbers, and date information were marked onto the glass fiber tube so the customer could check visibility from different viewing angles. The final sample showed a readable black mark on the light-colored composite surface, giving the customer a direct reference for future batch coding and product traceability.

From online inquiry to workshop validation

Many marking projects begin with a short online question, but the best solution often depends on the actual material. In this case, the customer brought the sample directly to ZiXu after the Douyin inquiry. Our team was able to check the tube shape, surface texture, marking direction, and fixture needs in one session.

This type of onsite test is especially useful for composite parts, curved tubes, industrial covers, and non-standard surfaces. It allows both sides to discuss marking content, positioning, readability, and later production handling before equipment selection is finalized.

Need to test your own material?

ZiXu supports sample marking tests for metal, plastic, glass, composite materials, and curved industrial parts. If you are not sure whether your material is suitable for laser marking, you can send sample information or arrange an onsite test with our team.
