Pneumatic Rotary Flange Marking Machine for Large Flanges
Designed for large, heavy-duty flanges, this pneumatic flange marking machine handles workpieces from 500 to 2,000 mm in diameter with a 4,000 kg worktable load capacity. Its 360° rotary marking system and adjustable positioning axes support permanent identification on flange faces and circumferential surfaces.

Three-axis positioning with 1,100 mm lifting travel, 350 mm lateral travel and motorized front-to-back adjustment for flexible flange marking without re-clamping.
Handles 500–2,000 mm flanges weighing up to 4,000 kg, with adjustable 0.1–1 mm marking depth for consistent identification.
Supports logos, specifications, serial numbers and linear codes, with automatic numbering and continuous marking at 3+ characters per second.
The ZIXU pneumatic rotary marking machine is built around one situation: rings and large flanges from 500 to 2,000 mm across, weighing up to four tonnes, that must leave the shop carrying a legible specification, heat number and serial number on the face and the outside diameter – parts that cannot be re-rigged per surface. It is lifted onto a table rated at 4,000 kg and clamped; after that the machine travels: a 1,100 mm lifting platform sets height, a 350 mm linear guide sets lateral position, and the front-to-back axis is motorized.
Marking area is a full 360 degrees of rotation, with a 300 x 700 mm flat field for the face; depth is adjustable from 0.1 to 1 mm depending on the material, at 3 or more characters per second. The operating system handles real-time editing and preview, USB import of custom logos, automatic serial numbers, linear codes and automated continuous marking.
The machine weighs about 3.5 tonnes, runs on AC 380 V 60 Hz and draws under 6.8 kW excluding the compressor. Drive is pneumatic, with no laser source. Users are wind-turbine and large-flange plants, slewing bearing and gear-ring makers, pressure-vessel head shops and heavy forging plants.

Features

Stable, Durable & Low Consumption
Long service life; modular design with efficient heat dissipation supports 24/7 continuous operation with minimal maintenance costs.
The marking head rides on a linear guide and the drive module sits in its own housing, so heat is kept away from the guideway and the pin. There is no laser source, no chiller and no optics to align – the marking pin is the only regular consumable.
The assemblies are replaced as units rather than repaired on the machine, which is what makes round-the-clock marking on a 4,000 kg rotary table practical instead of a maintenance schedule.
Broad Applicability
Widely applied in industrial manufacturing, suitable for marking diverse materials.
One machine covers the parts a shop actually marks: 316 stainless valve bodies and pipe fittings, carbon and alloy steel flanges from 500 to 2,000 mm, rings, castings and machined faces.
Depth is set between 0.1 and 1 mm to suit the material – deep into a rough forged flange, shallow on a finished stainless face where the mark must not become a stress point. The photo is a real 316 fitting carrying its lot number, size and grade, marked in one pass.

High Software Compatibility
Enables content editing & real-time preview, supports USB import of graphic logos, auto serial numbering, linear codes, and automated continuous marking.
The operating system does content editing and real-time preview on screen: lay the block out, check it before the pin touches metal, then run.
Logos and drawings come in over USB, serial numbers increment on their own, linear codes are generated in the file, and continuous marking runs without operator input between parts.
The parameter table has no diagram, so the following is derived from its six motion and function entries. It is an engineering inference, not supplier-confirmed, and must be checked item by item once a drawing is available.
| Component (derived) | Matching parameter | Function |
| Rotary worktable | Marking Range: 360 degrees Rotation | Carries and indexes the ring for full-circumference marking |
| Clamping unit | Clamping Range: 500-2000MM | Holds 500-2000 mm rings; the workpiece stays still while marking |
| Lifting platform | Lifting Platform Stroke: 0-1100MM | Sets marking height across diameters and thicknesses |
| Linear guide | Linear Guide Stroke: 0-350MM | Positions the head laterally across the 300×700 mm flat field |
| Motorized front-to-back axis | Front-to-Back Movement: Motorized Stroke | Approach positioning with less manual alignment |
| Marking head / control | Marking Content + Operating System | Pneumatic impact marking; live editing, USB import, serials, linear codes |
Available Models
Material Compatibility
| Material | Suitability | Suggested depth | Note |
| Carbon and low-alloy ring/flange steel (Q235, 20#, 16Mn) | Suitable | 0.1-1mm | Main application; depth set by material |
| Wind-turbine flange steel (Q355 / S355 series) | Suitable | 0.1-1mm | Thick-wall parts; use the middle to deep setting |
| Alloy structural steel (42CrMo4, 34CrNiMo6 for slewing rings and gear rings) | Suitable | 0.1-1mm | Usually quenched and tempered; raise depth with hardness |
| Stainless 304 / 316 / 316L | Suitable | 0.1-1mm | Work-hardens; use a deeper setting |
| Cast or forged black surface | Suitable | 0.3-1mm | Roughness barely affects pneumatic impact |
| Cast iron | Suitable | 0.3-1mm | Watch edge definition where graphite is exposed |
| Large aluminium parts | Conditional | 0.1-0.3mm | Soft material; shallow setting to avoid distortion |
| Hardened or surface-hardened parts | [pending] | – | Pin hardness not stated, so the ceiling cannot be judged – test first |
| Plated or painted parts | Conditional | – | Marking breaks the coating; post-treat or relocate the mark |
