Pneumatic Dot Peen Marking Machine | 1mm Deep Marking
A portable pneumatic dot peen marking machine that drives a hardened needle up to 1 mm deep into metal below HRC65 — permanent, wear-resistant marks on large or fixed parts.

A purpose-developed deep-marking needle presses up to 1 mm into the part, so the data is carried by the material instead of sitting on the surface.
The head is portable and held by a powerful solenoid fixture, so chassis, frames and installed components are marked where they sit.
Compressed air drives the needle instead of a laser, so there is no laser safety classification and no optical enclosure to maintain.
This portable pneumatic dot peen marking machine is designed for deep, durable marking on metal parts. Driven by compressed air, its hardened alloy needle delivers up to 300 impacts per second, achieving marking depths of 0.01–1 mm on metals with hardness below HRC65.
The portable marking head is suitable for large, heavy or fixed workpieces, including chassis, welded frames, castings and structural steel. Solenoid fixtures help secure the head during marking, ensuring stable operation on site.
Deep marking helps maintain readability in applications exposed to abrasion and corrosion, making the machine suitable for permanent part numbers, nameplates and multi-line production data.
The dedicated controller features an integrated display and keyboard, allowing users to create and run text and vector graphics without a separate PC. The machine operates with 0.2–0.6 MPa compressed air and a 110V or 220V single-phase power supply. With a net weight of approximately 17 kg, it can be easily transported between workstations.
Operating temperatures range from -10°C to 50°C, making it suitable for various industrial environments.

Features

German-Imported Linear Guide Rail
The marking head travels on a German-imported linear guide rail instead of a plain bushing. The recirculating-ball carriage keeps the head on a straight, low-friction path, so dot spacing stays even across the 150 × 80 mm marking area and the head does not deflect when the needle fires at 300 impacts per second.
High-Power Stepper Motor
Stepper motors drive the marking axes. Every impact pushes back against the head, so the motors are sized for torque rather than raw speed: they hold position against the reaction force, run without losing steps and keep the motion smooth — which is what holds character spacing consistent from the first dot to the last.

Thickened Aviation Aluminium Frame
The frame is machined from thickened aviation-grade aluminium plate rather than folded sheet steel. A head firing 300 times a second sends that vibration straight into the frame, so mass and rigidity are what keep the axis alignment from drifting; the body is built as one unit instead of a bolted-together sheet-metal box.
High-Suction Electromagnetic Fixture
The fixture holds itself to the workpiece with a high-suction electromagnet instead of hand pressure. On flat steel plate the head stays fixed while the needle fires, so characters do not drift and the operator keeps both hands free to guide the marking path — the reason this format works on large parts marked in place.

High-Frequency Impact Marking Needle
Compressed air drives a hardened alloy needle into the surface at high frequency, building each character from individual dots. Two needle options are offered, 6 mm and 12 mm, covering finer character work through to deeper marks. The needle is the only real consumable in the system.
Four serviceable assemblies make up the system. The head carries the needle and the solenoid fixtures; the controller and regulator stay outside the impact zone.
| # | Component | Function |
