Desktop 3D UV Laser Marking Machine for Glass, Ceramic and FPC – 355nm Cold Marking, 360 Degree Rotary
A desktop 3D UV marker: 355 nm cold processing with no heat-affected zone, 100 or 200 mm field, a 360 degree rotary fixture for cylinders, water cooled, 3 / 5 / 10 W.

Beam quality M2 of 1.2 or better, a 0.55 +/- 0.15 mm spot and a built-in 6x beam expander land a line width of 0.01-0.02 mm with 0.002 mm repeatability. What that buys is not ‘can it mark’ but ‘will the Data Matrix still scan after a year of handling’.
A UV source is one of the most temperature-sensitive components in a laser. This one is specified at RMS 3% power stability over 24 hours and RMS 3% pulse stability at 40 kHz, cooled by a 500 W chiller in a sealed source housing. Day-to-day maintenance reduces to cleaning the optics.
The field is 100 x 100 or 200 x 200 mm and can be customised; the rotary fixture clamps through 360 degrees. The software reads PLT, DXF, BMP, DWG, LAS, DXP and DST, generates serial numbers, dates, batch codes and QR in-app, and caches jobs to run offline in batches.
This is a desktop UV marker built for the work a fiber or CO2 head damages: glass, ceramics, heat-sensitive ABS and PET, thin film and FPC. The 355 nm source works photochemically – photons break the surface bonds and the material leaves as molecules instead of being melted first – so the heat-affected zone stays in the micron range and edges come out clean, with no carbonisation and no burrs. Beam quality of M2 1.2 or better with a 0.55 +/- 0.15 mm spot lands a line width of 0.01 to 0.02 mm, which makes micro-text and Data Matrix codes readable rather than merely present.
Curved work is covered by two motions working together. The 3D head drives focus along Z, so arcs, slopes and steps hold their depth without being refocused in segments; a 360 degree rotary fixture turns cylinders, cones and rings at constant speed while the software splits the layout by circumference and registers it. Parts that are both domed and round – tapered bottle bodies, profiled tubes, stepped ring faces – finish in one clamping.

Features

Cold-Light, Non-Destructive Marking
355 nm UV is a cold process: photons break the surface bonds and the material leaves photochemically rather than by ablation. No heat-affected zone, no burnt edge, no burr – brittle and heat-sensitive work such as glass, ceramics, PCB and flexible film sits exactly in this machine’s comfort zone.
PC Control System
An industrial PC runs the marking software, so layout, parameters, serial numbering and file handling all live in one place. Changing product means editing a file and saving a parameter set instead of relying on operator memory, which keeps batch quality the same when the shift changes.

Compact and Space-Saving
An industrial desktop build: the machine and its chiller sit side by side on one bench and it is ready to run. About 780 mm tall on a 430 x 550 mm base and light enough for one person to move, so shifting it to another bench or into a clean room does not need a rigging crew
Stable, Durable and Low Consumption
A fully sealed UV source with high noise immunity and a long service life. Modular construction with ducted air and water cooling supports 24-hour continuous operation, and day-to-day maintenance comes down to cleaning the optics – low upkeep, low downtime, which is what a running line actually cares about.

Water-Cooling System
A standalone chiller holds the source at a stable set point, and a stable source is a stable power output. UV mark depth drifts with source temperature, which is why hour eight of a shift marks as deep as hour one – that is what this cooling loop is for.
| Assembly | What it does |
| Laser Source | SEAL-355-5SE sealed UV source, water cooled, fed at DC12V |
| Laser Galvo | Scan head; sets marking speed and field |
| Field Lens | Sets the field (100×100 or 200×200 mm) and the spot size |
| Work Platform | Datum for fixtures and parts |
| Rotary Fixture | 360 degree fixture, chuck and tailstock, for continuous work on cylinders and rings |
| Water Chiller | 500 W cooling capacity, sits beside the machine, roughly 560 x 460 mm of bench |
Material Compatibility
| Group | Materials | Note |
| Transparent and brittle | Glass, quartz glass, ceramics (domestic / craft), electronic ceramics, glazed tile, marble and granite | A cold process leaves no micro-crack band; glass takes a matte finish and fine lines without chipping |
| Transparent and brittle | ★ Crystal and gemstone (including sub-surface engraving), ★ sapphire and optical crystal | Fiber and CO2 are both marked no; sub-surface engraving is UV only |
| Electronics | ★ Silicon wafer, ★ IC package, PCB/FPC, electronic components, cable and wire, keypads and switches, battery shells and tabs | FPC and PCB are the classic UV volume job: QR plus micro-text |
| Metals | Stainless 304/316, carbon steel, alloy steel, cast iron, aluminium, copper alloys, galvanised sheet, titanium, magnesium, precious metals, plated parts, powder metallurgy, metal foil under 0.5 mm, hardware, medical implants (UDI) | On metal UV marks a shallow layer; contrast comes from surface change. For deep engraving choose fiber |
| Polymers and film | Acrylic, TPU/TPE, EVA/EPE foam, PTFE coating, carbon fibre composites, paint and coatings (removal type) | Heat-sensitive plastics are the UV strength: no carbonisation, no distortion |
| Organic and fibre | Leather, PU/PVC leather, fabric, denim, non-woven, paper and board, corrugated box, labels and barcodes, wood and MDF, bamboo and cork, food and eggshell | Markable, but CO2 is more economical here; UV only wins on short runs and where burnt edges are unacceptable |
