Benchtop 3D Fiber Laser Marking Machine
A benchtop 3D fiber laser marker whose focal plane follows the part: curved, stepped, and uneven surfaces are marked in one clamping, across a 300x300mm field at 6000mm/s.

MM3D unwraps 3D surfaces into flat layouts with Z-map focal compensation and saves them as reusable templates, eliminating reprogramming when models change.
Requires no chiller or coolant loop, offering high efficiency and simple lens cleaning. Includes a 2-year source warranty and supports CO2 or UV source options.
Combines a rigid benchtop frame with a SinoGalvo FL-3D-7210 head, delivering 99.9% linearity, repeatability below 8 μrad, and drift under 0.5 mrad over 8 hours.
The 3D laser engraving machine is a benchtop fiber marker built for parts a 2D machine cannot hold focus on. A 3D galvanometer – SinoGalvo FL-3D-7210 – moves the focal point along Z while it sweeps, so a stepped bracket, a curved housing, or a part with a 20 mm height difference is marked across its whole surface in one clamping, without re-focusing or turning the workpiece over.
The field adjusts from 200×200 mm to 300×300 mm, and the working area can be built as 200×200, 300×300, or 400×400 mm. Marking speed is 6000 mm/s with 12,000 mm/s positioning and 600 cps writing; linearity is 99.9%, repeatability is better than 8 uRad, and drift stays under 0.5 mRad across eight hours.
Power is 110 V 60 Hz or 220 V 50 Hz. The source is fiber-CO2, and UV is available on the same frame – and it is air-cooled. MM3D handles 3D model import, surface unwrap, and Z-map focal compensation. Nothing touches the workpiece, so thin walls and finished faces come out undistorted.

True 3D: a real Z-axis, not a lift table
A separate Z-axis module sits ahead of the galvo, with a graduated column and a ±50 mm stroke (±100 mm optional). The focus tracks the surface along Z while marking, so stepped, curved and uneven parts are finished in one clamping. A 2D head on a lift table moves the whole head, and anything beyond the depth of focus goes soft.

A galvo chosen on data, not on price
SinoGalvo FL-3D-7210 3D head: linearity 99.9%, repeatability better than 8 uRad, long-term drift under 0.5 mRad over eight hours, marking at 6000 mm/s and positioning at 12,000 mm/s. Batch consistency is those numbers, not the word ‘stable’.
Rotary fixture standard, not an add-on
The grease unit sits under the marking head and doses on every cycle. Output is adjustable and even, it comes apart for cleaning without special tools, and very little grease is wasted.

A console you can use with gloves on
The console sits level with the table, on the operator’s side: three physical buttons – start, stop, emergency stop – plus the focus target, all within reach. You can hit them without looking, which beats picking at a touchscreen with gloves on.
MM3D: unwrap the surface first
The software is MM3D: import the 3D model, unwrap the target surface to a flat layout, apply Z-map focal compensation and save it as a template. A model change is a template recall, not a re-programme. 2D software has no surface unwrap, so a stepped part has to be marked in hand-focused segments.

The result on curved and non-planar faces
A bottle wall on one side, the inside of a mould cavity on the other – neither is flat, and neither is a height difference a lift table can solve. This is where 3D dynamic focusing has to prove itself: characters that keep their shape, line width that does not fatten, QR codes that still grade out.
The datasheet drawing calls out five items. The first two are the hardware differences from a 2D machine; the rest are the operating surface.
| Item (datasheet wording) | Function |
| 3D GALVO | SinoGalvo FL-3D-7210; Z-axis dynamic focus, compensating the focal plane while sweeping |
| Rotation | 360-degree rotary axis for cylindrical and circumferential marking |
| Light Beam Path | Enclosed path from source to galvo |
| Screen | Layout preview and parameter recall |
| Mouse & Keyboard | 3D model import and path editing |

| Cooling | Air-cooled, no chiller | Page attribute |
| Air supply | Not required (non-contact process) | Structural |
| Site | Level bench; fume extraction advised for plastics and coatings | Recommendation |
| Workpiece | Metals primarily; non-metals need a CO2 / UV source | Tables + section 4 |
Material Compatibility
| Material | Fiber | CO2 / UV | Note |
| Stainless 304 / 316 | Yes | UV better | Serial numbers and QR on curved faces, clean edges |
| Carbon/alloy steel | Yes | – | Deep engraving possible; paint must be applied after, or masked |
| Aluminium | Yes | – | Anodised layer marks by colour change without breaking the oxide |
| Copper/brass | Yes (needs power) | UV steadier | Highly reflective; slow down or raise power at 6000 mm/s |
| Zinc/nickel plated | Yes | – | Marking breaks the coating; assess corrosion |
| Thin wall (<1 mm) | Yes | – | Non-contact, no impact distortion – the core advantage over pneumatic |
| Carbide / hardened | Yes | – | Laser ignores workpiece hardness, unlike a marking pin |
| ABS / PC / coatings | Burns | CO2 suits | Fume extraction required |
| Ceramic / glass | No | UV maybe | Sample test required |
