In general, CW laser cleaning machines are the simplest of all laser systems in terms of system architecture, optical path, and control software functionality. As a result, the cost of portable continuous laser cleaning machines is constantly decreasing, and the power range is gradually increasing from 800W, 1000W, 1500W to 2000W, 3000W, 6000W and even higher. On the other hand, due to the fact that the beam quality and control accuracy are not as high as other types of lasers, the scanning width of the galvanometer of the CW laser cleaning machine has developed from 200mm, 250mm to 350mm, 500mm and even higher in recent years.
In addition to the basic hand-held continuous laser cleaning machine for industrial rust and oil removal, it is now popular to mount them on fixed or wheeled stands to match a fixed focal length. These low-cost, customized tools can significantly improve cleaning quality and consistency, and reduce operator fatigue and human error. They can also be flexibly used in production lines to achieve very low cost automated cleaning.
