Tungsten Carbide Marking Needle
Solid tungsten carbide core at 93HRA. One thread and pin-diameter family covers pneumatic, electric, and scribe heads, with 0.01-1.5 mm engraving depth and 0.02-0.04 mm repeatability – steel, aluminium, and nameplates in one pass.
Features a 93 HRA solid tungsten carbide core (approximately 68 HRC) for consistent marking depth, clean edges, and reduced stylus changes. Delivers up to 3× the service life of conventional alloy pins, reducing downtime and replacement costs.
Provides quiet, reliable marking without a compressor or air line, while maintaining depth comparable to pneumatic pins. Its optimized head design supports continuous operation on nameplates and machined parts.
Supports M18–M45 threads and 1–10 mm pin diameters across pneumatic marking, electric marking, and pneumatic scribe models. Custom options include tip angle, overhang, color, and laser marking.

The electric pin needs no air supply, runs quiet and hits hard, matching a pneumatic pin on depth for scattered workstations or shops without a compressor. Tip angle, overhang, colour and laser marking are customizable; give us the material, the depth and the character height and the pin follows. Pins ship from stock in single pieces, so a worn tip never waits for a production run.
