This semi-enclosed 3-in-1 MOPA fiber laser workstation is designed for notebook magnesium-aluminum housings that need side-interface marking and conductive-zone anodized layer ablation in one process. It combines a 20W high-peak-power GZTech MOPA source for ablation with a 30W JPT M7 MOPA source for side marking, helping contract manufacturers keep three-side processing consistent on the same workstation.

After fixture and template setup, the line supports synchronized three-side processing, automatic counting feedback to MES through API, and robotic loading for continuous 24/7 production.

Description

This machine was developed for notebook shell manufacturers that anodize magnesium-aluminum housings to improve corrosion resistance and reduce fingerprint contamination, but still need specific conductive positions exposed later in production. The C-side display cable position requires selective anodized layer ablation to restore conductivity, while both sides need interface marks for power, HDMI, USB and related positions.

For the ablation task, CNMarking uses a GZTech 20W high-peak-power MOPA source with peak power above 80kW and pulse duration down to 0.2ns. For side marking, the workstation uses a 30W JPT M7 MOPA source. The semi-enclosed layout keeps the process stable for repetitive production while leaving room for automation and operator safety measures.
