Economical fully automatic steel pipe dot matrix marking demonstration.

The customer needs to mark short steel pipes of specific diameters and lengths and label batch numbers on the outside of the pipes. Therefore, the customer hopes to obtain a marking system that is as automated as possible, highly reliable, and low in maintenance cost. We used four sets of cylindrical fixtures to achieve a fully automatic loading and unloading, positioning, marking, and unloading process. You can view the operation sequence and its functions in this video. The system is simple and reliable, with low implementation cost, and can be integrated into a fully automatic pipe production line according to MES system instructions in a hairpin-turn and marking manner. The deployment cost is low, and it will hardly interfere with the existing production or marking rhythm.

In the industrial field, stylish fixtures are often regarded as the cornerstone of automation. Designing and applying fixtures and jigs for moving and positioning workpieces is the key to achieving automated loading and unloading and marking. Such automation usually uses PLC to control the movement and speed of each node, thereby achieving highly reliable and economical automated solutions. Because compressed air is used as the power source, cylinder fixtures usually move very quickly and make extensive use of limit devices to achieve stopping. Therefore, daily maintenance only requires checking whether the air pipes, throttle valves, and limit devices have faults and replacing them in a timely manner.
